Default too much carbs

I have noticed in the few days starting GB my daily average of carbs is 253, yikes. I never realized I was taking in that many carbs. I workout 5-6 times a week, primarily weight training, and 2-3 times a week with cardio. I eat alot of proteins, but I noticed I am taking in a lot of carbs as well. Does anyone know of any good books with easy diet plans for lowering carb intake? I try to eat wheat everything, pasta, bread, whole grain cereals, but it seems like everything is loaded with carbs. I do eat lots of ground turkey and chicken, but I can't eat this at every meal, I have checked out some cookbooks but even the snacks are time consuming to make. Just looking for some simple tips or reference to getting a healthy low carb diet. Thanks, Shawn
