My fingertips are looking like pin-cushions, and have done for some time.

This is probably not a new idea, but I really wish someone would invent a BG meter that operated like one of those alcohol breathalyzers that the cops use to see if you're driving over the legal limit (well, they do down here anyway).

Just breathe into it. No blood sample, no pain, no fuss, no mess. Then again, if they could invent that, they could probably invent a cure for this wretched disease.

Hmmm. While I'm at it, insulin taken orally or through something like those nicotine patches would also be good. (Guess I should be grateful it isn't via suppository.)
