Hi my name is Alexandra "Alex"
I am suffering from profound hypoglycemia since my gastric bypass May 12, 2012.
I usually have no warning that my sugar has dropped till I see flashing lights and check my sugar. It is not uncommon for my sugars at that time to be between 37-44. It is hard to get it back up and then keep it up I have been told by the doctor to eat anything I can all day long. I eat 3 meals and then literally snack all day. When I had the gastric bypass I weighed 434, and had dropped to 112 at the height of 5'7". I have leveled my weight off at 138-148, but still have just no control of these sugars!!! |
