Default Was borderline Type 2 Now for real

Hello, I am a 74 year old male. Things started going bad for me almost three years ago. I was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma an both kidneys and it metastasized to my pancreas. I was on Votrient for 2 plus years and that drug kept everything in check until the cancer on my pancreas grew by a few centimeters. My doctor switched me to a new drug, in August of this year, which lasted about three days before I ended up in the hospital from a severe reaction. Now I am on a drug that I get once a week through an IV.

Since being on my current drug my blood sugar shot up to over 200 and now I am trying to get it down through diet and exercise. I believe that I can handle the diet part but exercising may be a bit difficult.

I have found in the past that public forums, such as this one, can be very helpful in getting along day to day. So, I am looking forward to learning new things that will help me move along in my life.

Joe
