I have been reading Dr. Neil Barnard's book on Reversing Diabetes. I know that is slim having type 1, but I am trying to use less insulin, maintain exercise with energy and feel better. Do much is written about the " protein". I do not eat any meat, dairy or eggs. I teach group exercise and I am very active. It is hard to find a nutritionist to advise a type 1. They look at you like you 10 heads
