Smile Newly diagnosed T2DM - A1C 8%

Hi every one:

During my routin medical check , few weeks ago. I found out that I am type 2 diabete , I am male , 42 Y.O , from north Africa .
My fasting blood sugar was 136 and A1C was 8%, doctor advised me that it's in early stage, and it's better to control it from the begining.

I started doing exercises on daily basis, organising my meals and diet , and having one oral medication per day ( Metaformin).

I am really not sad, actually I found my self having more physical activities , better healthy food and better life in general.

Alot for this application and forum , it really helps with information and data classification .

Welcome to the Forum! It appears that you are doing well.

The diabetes lifestyle is a healthy lifestyle that most of us should have been following prior to diabetes. Read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, if you have not already done so. Good luck with your control and management.
