Check the ladies room, there are several posts on it. They say getting the blood sugar under control is one of the main things.

Caused by alkaline conditions and passing sugar. Acetic acid gels can help. Ultimately circumcision

Get your BG under control, that will get rid of YI.

Default Treatment for infections

obyo ... this is going to abuse a lot of manly attitudes, but I have the same issues. The best treatment is to go to you Doctor and ask for a script for Diflucan - a PINK pill that is usually given to the ladies. While at the store waiting for the pharmacy, ask them for summer eve douche. Yes, that's right, ANOTHER feminine product. Sorry guys, this does work. Once you get home, take the pill and then a nice shower. Clean everything VERY well (you know where I mean, if like me, even pull the skin back to clean well), then take the douche in a small container (I use a 1/2 cup measuring cup) and SOAK the head and affected areas for 2 minutes. This Will sting like hell, but it clears out all the bad germs that cause the infection. Rinse, and go about your day. Tomorrow - same steps in the shower . Then you should be ok.
Only once did I have it so bad, I had to take a pill twice to clean it out.

Best of luck.
Dang

ps . word of warning - you CAN pass this to your partner if not careful - meaning you may both need treatment at the same time.
