My name is Michael and I am 47 years old have been a type 2 for a little of 10 yrs, my grandmother died of a diabetic coma so this is very dear to my heart, as I do not want to die as my grandmother did. I am on 5 units of Humalog before meals and 35 units of Lantus at night time. Once again thank you for having me and hopeful I will recieve alot of knowledge from everyone and maybe I will be able to assist with what I have also learned through my 10 yrs of dealing with my issues.

Welcome to the Forum!

I tell everyone that walks through the door to read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section. I am sure that you know most of this, but feel free to do so and share what you have learned on your journey with diabetes. Good luck with your control and management.
