Default I am Doug

I was recently diagnosed with T2. My average BS is 126 and my out of bed averages about 135. I have been taking Metformin for about two weeks now and have not seen much of a difference in the numbers. I try to do a fast paced 1.25 mile walk (3.5 MPH) every day, either on the treadmill or outside at lunch. I try to limit my carb intake to around 50g per sitting. I have lost about 5 lbs (193 -> 188) over the last month or so maybe due to the carb limits or maybe the Metformin.

So, that's me right now.

Doug;

Welcome to the Forum!

I think that your weight lose is attributed to the walking and the carb reduction. Keep up the good work! The numbers will come down.
