Default During Night or after bed category please

Hi - I have just started using glucose buddy and find it really useful. However you havent got a 'during night' or 'after bed' time description, so I am putting in those readings and food under the 'other' category, which isnt really all that useful. Is there a chance you could add this category? Thanks

I will have to agree, with you, that there should be a during the night time description. I am currently using "out of bed" and tracking this by the time stamp. These are easy to find, for me, as these are usually hypo's. I hope that you are having better luck!

Your son is fortunate to have the help! Personally, I don't have a problem with having multiple out of bed readings, since I have the time stamp to tell the difference. However, I can see the need, to use different tracking descriptions, if you are trying to establish baseline information for the doctor.

yes that's right - to be able to see trends at a glance for different times of day is very useful and of course the night time readings are crucial in that regard to check the effectiveness of long lasting insulin.

I also use other like I did just now at 3 am. I would love a middle of night setting as my endocrinologist wants my middle of night readings. Can you add it?

Default BG middle of night

Possible to add a coategory "Middle of night" for BG timing category?

which refers to some time between 1am to 4am,

somehow my endocrinologist asked me to record occasionally a few values during this block of time, to check if the insulin pump is causing any hypo in the middle of the night.

I think that "During Night" would work better for those night owls on the third shift. They are suppose to be awake when working. Just my $0.02 for what it is worth.

Have both then - During sleep (day), During sleep(night). I am sure it is easy to include them in this excellent apps!
