Default New here too.

Hi- I'm new to this also. Have been diagnosed with type 2 for 15 years. First 10 was controlled with diet and exercise. The last 5 not so much. Was on glimipride but changed Doc's and she changed me to metformin- blood sugar shot way up plus had horrible side effects. She put me back on glimipride but bs haven't gone down- now am taking 4 mg 2x's daily and Januvia 1 time daily- bs still not low like before. Very frustrated and feel like crap !!

Welcome to the Forum!

Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.
