push notifications on GB app
How can I turn on the notifications to remind me to check my blood sugar? I saw that this is a feature in the app but I can't figure out how to turn it on. Can anyone help me figure this out?

There were considerable problems with the "Push Reminders" in the earlier version and they did not work properly. Apparently the powers that be have removed the "Push Reminders" from the App in the current version. I am sorry that I can not tell you when they will be put back into the App. This problem has been addressed in the "GB Help" thread as well.

I'm using Alarmed for iPhone
I found a free app that you can set recurring alarms. I like you will absolutely forget without a reminder. There are many out there for Android as well.

I just upgraded to the pro version so I could get push notifications and now they are gone waste of $7

I use my Calendar on my iPhone to remind me to test my blood. It turns out I need it to remind me to eat a snack too, as I tend to forget to do that and my blood sugar falls too low. An ever present problem with me...

Well, rats! That was one of the things I was really looking forward to! But, I'll try the "work arounds" mentioned elsewhere in the thread - calendar and timer. Hopefully it will be back soon! <>>
