Default honey moon period

I've been diagnosed with type one for 3 months I only have to take 15 units of lantus a day my blood sugars are in the range how long will this last or will it last forever??

The "Honeymoon Period" usually lasts one or two months, but can last up to a year.

The honeymoon phase is when your pancreas is still making some Insulin but not enough. I was diagnosed 10 months ago and I've been honeymooning ever since. I think I may be coming out of it though because I've been having REALLY high blood sugars for like 1 1/2 months so…
