Default Day and Night

Finally, after analyzing my Dexcom graphs over the past few weeks, I've had enough. Lantus in the evening leaves the 3pm to 8pm window unguarded. Lantus in the morning gives me sweeping and sustained lows through most of the morning but I will climb overnight. Granted, those times are merely estimates but anyone who tells me Lantus provides 24 hour coverage is going to get a stern look. And trust me, you will feel very bad if you get that look from me.
