Considering root canal treatment.. need help
Hi! I'm type 2 diabetic patient and I'm scheduled for root canal treatment from a clinic in Scarborough on 26th of this month. I have recently checked my blood sugar level and it's bit high. Will this increase in blood sugar level have any negative impact? I'm really worried now. Should I postpone the treatment? Please help!!

Hey. I am not sure about it. I had undergone a root canal therapy from a dentistry clinic in Houston about 5 years ago and my dentist was Dr. David Silberman. I was not a diabetic patient then. So it is better to talk to your dentist regarding this and seek his advice.

I think you should inform your dentist about your blood sugar result.

Do you mean here that the incisor will need a crown even without root canal treatment?
