Default Issues with App since upgrading to Iphone OS 4.0

I just upgraded my Iphone 3G to OS 4.0 and since the upgrade I have been having issues with GB. GB will open and all seems to work normally except when I try to add a new entry to my log. When I tap the + sign to add the entry, the app closes and the iPhone goes back to the home screen.

Any suggestions?

This has already been addressed: Try doing a search for IOS4.

LOL Jeff!

I was thinking the same thing about delete log and the medicine "insulin" problem the other day. Maybe we should just put up a sticky in the GB Support Section called "Known Problems" and add to that each week or so.

On the question of IOS4, I have not upgraded yet. How do you like it? They say that with all the iTunes server traffic it can be problematic to download.

I agree! I think that if there were a central location for facts, this would cut down on some of the questions being asked. Not everyone knows how to do a search or that there is a search feature, for that matter.

I whole heartedly agree! It would have been nice to have atleast an on-line user manual, as I could have used it many times.

I also hope not! I tend to get short with people when I answer questions over and over, as well. I don't have a lot of time to make long posts over the course of the day and this causes my posts to be very short answers sometimes.

On the IOS4: I downloaded it last night. The last time that I installed a newer version, of the operating system, I had to go back to the original "New Phone" configuration. This install was no different. It took a couple of hours to do and I did not lose anything. I have learned to do a backup before I even attemp a download. Thankfully I have had good restores.

I like the IOS4 software so far and I have all of my Apps so I am a happy camper.

Dano, clicking on your link for "IOS4" gets no results. I think a known problem post might get peoples attention. I was going to ask the same question but I did some reading on the forum here and lucked across the answer from one of the Admins.

The new OS has a bunch of great features on my 3GS iphone, but it has been a nightmare for people using nike+ on the iphone. I will have to go back and use my ipod nano for my runs until they get the bugs fixed.

Brewbetter, thanks for letting me know about the dead link. It worked fine the first day. The link has been repaired and now works, I hope.

In order to help you i think we need a little bit more specific information that "my app does not work". How about what doesn't work. Does the app open? Can you do anything within the app without it crashing? Does doing something specific make it crash? etc etc
