My name is Amanda. I'm 29 years of age as of today and I've been a type 2 since I was 18 yrs of age. Up until this past summer my levels had been controlled with oral meds but now I'm on injections 4 times a day. I take 3 corrections with novolog and the my long acting latus. I feel very a lone because I'm the only person I know my age with type 2. It would be awesome to meet knew friends that understand what I'm going through. 😄

Welcome to the Forum!
![]() Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.

Hey Amanda! I'm Jolie, 35, and been a type 1 for about 15 years, and doing injections the whole time. I know it's hard, non-diabetics just don't get it sometimes.
