Default surgical hardware in my back prevent me from running.

20 years ago I had major back surgery which change my life completely. I used to be very active in sports. Since then, I was forced to quit sports.
10 years ago I was diagnosed with type two diabetes and that send me into depression.
I can walk around the block but I'm limited on my walking because I can feel my pins moving in my back. I refuse to go under the knife again, because I was told removing the pins my not help my back.
Now I enjoyed myself with 11 units of insulin. That's every evening at 9 PM.
I try not to show emotion around my family because I don't want him to worry about me.
