Circulation
I'm going on having T1 for 15 years and I'm starting to notice that when I wake up in the mornings my hands or arms are dead or I have pins and needles a lot worse than normal and it takes longer to get the feeling back. Almost to the point it starts to scare me. Anyone else come across this or something similar??

I've had type 1 for 17 years now, almost 18. I've been noticing this more lately also. It also wakes me up in my sleep as my arms are tingling and hurting.

You might have to take a visit with your Dr. Having a numb or tingle sensation on your body specially for a Diabetic that has Type-1 for that long of a time. It could be an indication of neuropathy starting. I currently have had Type-1 diabetes now for over 23 years and I was found that 2 years ago I had a very minor case of neuropathy. But every case is different. I personally would suggest that you visit your Dr before it gets any worse.

Sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome (diabetics are more prone to this, like every other bad diagnosis).
