Question Push Reminders

Are the push reminders controlled by my iPhone clock or are they controlled by the GlucoseBuddy Server clock? Since the time change my push reminders are an hour late.....

Yup, looking through the code & how the reminders are stored in the database... Seems the noted bug should be relatively simple to fix, but I'll have to read-up a little on apple push notifications again to be sure I'm thinking right about it.

Ideally, users shouldn't have to perform the previously noted 4-step routine (though it works) to fix the off-by-1-hour bug each time a dst <-> standard time switch rolls around.

Thanks Jeff!

I am deleting the push reminder and setting up a new one. I will see if that works.

Think nothing of it, Dano!

Could you reply afterwards & let me know if it worked or not?

Thanks,
Jeff (aka jneitzel)

Jeff;

Deleting the Push Reminder and creating a new Push Reminder works at the correct time.

Default Iritating Push alarms

I have set the alarms for every two hours. as my Dr. and I are doing a test. Sometimes I work nights and I turn off the day alarms. When I work days I turn off the night alarms.

Sometimes the alarms fail to fire. Sometimes they are late by 5 minutes to 3 hours. Sometimes they are missed all together. I do not know why this is the case.

I would also like to have the alarms silenced more easily, as I am sometimes in places where quickly silencing would be a great benefit.

Default No alarms....

After reading the previous posts, I'll try to resave all my push reminders. When I first set them up, I received the push notifications for the first few meals, but since then, about two weeks, I have only received 3 or 4 reminders. Maybe resaving them will fix that? Anyone else have this problem?

docda;

Welcome to the Forum!

I have not had any problems with my alarm, since the time change. I only use one and it goes off every night at 10:00pm just like it should. Good luck with yours.
