Default Newbie!

Hello all! I was misdiagnosed in 2001 as type 2 so I was put on oral medication. This eventually landed me a hot spot in the ER and a transfer to the Luxurious ICU. Unbelievable! It was then they realized my pancreas was not functioning at all... After years of uncontrolled BS I was put on an insulin pump, three different ones to be exact. I am now under care with a new Dr and he says I don't need the pump... Confused.... He has me on glucophage and novolin, it seems to be working but I am super scared to be off my pump!

Welcome to the Forum!

I hope every thing works out. MDI is not so bad, I do it every day. Good luck with your control and management.
