Default Bad Numbers

Hey my name is Zack 19yrs old amd have had diabetes for 3 years. My numbers average from id say 7 to 12. 12 on the high end. I know this is not good at all to be above 8. But i was wondering if its a cause for serious concern. And if any one has any thing they can tell me the best way to get everything undercontroll. I dont want to end up loseing a limb or a kidney. Thanks alot.

Zack

Welcome to the Forum, Zack!

Read through the Blood Sugar 101 and Carb Counting 101 threads in the T2 section. I firmly believe that counting carbs and matching insulin to carbs is key to well maintained T1. Good luck and keep us informed.
