Need some help with my meter.

Right now I'm using Accu check compact plus. When i test it with low level control solution it read 44 on the test strip there saying low is 74 - something. Is the meter reading wrong ?

how long can you get a new meter with Medicare it is ever 6 month ?

Before buying anything check at amazon. I have save so much money buying from them.
