Trying to stay on track
Do you ever feel like you are betting against the odds. The month of January is extremely difficult, my family has 4 birthdays, mine 1/11, my oldest granddaughter 1/16, my son 1/18 and my youngest granddaughter 1/24. There are too many cakes around. How do you stay on track, I had a small piece of mine, it raise my glucose so I couldn't eat anymore, my granddaughter's birthday on Saturday, ate 1/2 a cupcake, it raised it and now I have 2 more birthdays to go.

How did you do on 1/18's birthday celebration? Here's a suggestion: if you feel guilty about something you ate, try doing some simple exercise afterwards. Even a walk around the block with some of your family is progress and will make you feel better, both physically and mentally.
