Default Denial - Not just the longest river in the world

I got diagnosed with Type 2 about 10 years ago and rapidly moved from diet and exercise, through tablets and then on to insulin a couple of years ago. With consistently high A1cs (112 most recently) diabetes had control of me. A couple of nights ago, I came to the conclusion that I hadn't come to terms with my diagnosis (now agreed to be LADA). I am scared of this illness. I have bipolar too and I don't think I've taken the implications on my mental health on board either.

Sorry for the rant! I've downloaded the app to track my sugars and improve med compliance.
