Default fasting and after meals blood sugars

I am wondering what range is best for fasting and after meals blood sugars. My Doctor says less than 140 which seems a bit high to me...a local diabetes instructor says 160 which seems really high...

Default BG's

Your doctor should give you your ranges. My doc like mine to be between 80-130 fasting and < 180 after meals.

Do a tag search for "Normal Blood Sugar" by selecting Search above, then Tag Search, then click on Normal Blood Sugar. I hope it helps.

Just for the record, these are my personal ranges:

Fasting: 70-99

After Meals: I consider anything above 140 @ 1 hour and anything above 120 @ 2 hours too high.
