Default Alcohol addiction

Hi all, can anyone suggest me some ideas to deal with my alcohol addicted partner? He wants to quit it, but he can’t. We consulted a doctor and the three choices the doctor suggested are - detox, Intensive Outpatient Program, and/or naltrexone. He is gazing at a container of naltrexone, but he can drink as much as he wants. I found some rehab centres while I was browsing. Can any of you suggest me, which one would be a better choice? I need him to get out of his drinking habit.
