Default Tresiba

Hello.
Diagnosed t2 about a year ago. Took Lantus up till a month ago, when all of a sudden my sugar was hitting 400+ every day after 2pm. So my doc switched me to Tresiba and 5units of Novolog 30/70 before dinner.
I take 40 to 46 units of Tresiba every night.
It has improved my numbers and I feel it stays with me longer than the Lantus. The only draw back so far is that I have gained about 20 pounds! I was 160, now I'm 180...
Is anyone else taking Tresiba and what are some of the pros/cons your having?
I would recommend it to anyone.
I only take insulin, can't take Metaf, it makes me nauseous. So with my diet of no sugar, low carbs and lots of water, i have managed to get my numbers back in control.
