Misery loves company! (I guess!)
So, Queen of Denial here. Diagnosed two years ago. Did great with diet and exercise first year...a1c down to 6...thought I could ease up...no regular testing-took pills...ate whatever I wanted. A1c 8.65. Now, back to square 1. Some days feel positive and able to deal; others not much. Only family member with diabetes except my father who is deceased. Thanks for letting me ramble.

Welcome to the Forum!
Here is your way to get back on track. Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.

I was diagnosed in 2002. Took it my diabetes seriously, read all literature I could get my hands on. Did well for a while. My A1c came down to 6.3 from 8.5. So proud of me...but pride come before of me. I allowed my auger addiction to run amuck. I'm back on track but it is not easy. I'm glad I found this forum.
