Default One Touch Verio meters

Anyone have any experience with the One Touch Verio Sync? I like the idea of the results being sent to my iPhone via Bluetooth when I test. I'm looking into that one as well as the Verio IQ. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks all.

I use the OneTouch Verio IQ. Overall, I've been happy.

There has been a couple glitches with test strips not filling properly, and forcing me to waste the strip.

Possible problem with the meter, called company yesterday to get a free replacement of the meter and test strips.

If you are buying this meter, make sure you buy it new from a store. Some earlier meters of this type were recalled. Fortunately, mine wasn't affected by the recall.

I have the Verio Sync. Works very well. Had another computer synced glucometer, but insurance changed the formulary. I've noticed a new software update and it's more user friendly, has more info and syncs better. Good luck..!!

Nopes I haven’t used it yet, but the concept seems to be nice. I have been using FreeStyle Optium Meter and test strips manufactured by Abbott that you can see http://www.ilexmedical.com/products.php?id=43 , but will try this for sure. Fortunately, the development of these devices offer the great flexibility in controlling diabetes by providing patients the easier way to test their own blood glucose level at home. However, these meters are also used in different medical care centers such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, emergency rooms etc. helps managing glucose level to a near-normal range.
