what do I do if I not sure how much insulin to take?
I was diagnosed with diabetes and did all the things I was suppose too. Couldn't take the pills due to harsh side effect so they put me on insulin. Well I went through a rough surgery and Oct and stopped taking my insulin. I know it's very bad that's stopped....I shouldn't have... But now my new doc wants me to take the old dose I was taking and I'm afraid it's to much of a dose... What should I do?

You should be testing often. Don't be alarmed.

Test 3-4 times a day, record results and keep a meal log. See a dietitian if its been awhile
