Hi there,

My name is Ramon, I'm 29 years old and live in Melbourne.

Around two years ago I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (LADA). A better name perhaps is PAID (Pancreatic Auto Immune Disease). I've really struggled with it lately is it's become worse and I find it such a burden and a chore to check my sugars and administer insulin. I'm hoping that the use of this app will help make tracking my results easier, and seeing the results in a graphical form will encourage myself, and others, to consistently check and use insulin.

My life is a bit turbulent at the moment so I don't really have much if a routine as such.. if anyone has advice on coping strategies, and suggestions for staying on top of glucose monitoring and insulin injections, I'm open to hearing them :-)

Best wishes to all,

Ramon

Welcome to the Forum!

I am Type 1.5 as well. I have been doing this so long, it is pretty much second nature to me. Stay on top of your control and management, test often and make sure that you don't miss your injections. I hope that the GB App will help, good luck.
