Default new to forum, could Statins have caused yours too?

Hi
I just found out I might be diabetic. We are trying two weeks off Simvastatin to see if I feel dramatically different. If not, then will treat. Anyone know if it can reverse if caused by a Statin?

Welcome to the Forum!

Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.

Do you think that statins caused your diabetes? Just asking because I don't clearly understand what you are asking.

If one googles something about Statins causing diabetes then you can see the debate. I was just curious if anyone had that happen to them and if it can get better.

Thanks
