Default Times and log events

I was tasked to provide my blood sugars each week for a month. Up until now (4 days) I was keeping track via a text file, which I'd eventually print out and fax to my provider. However, since I carry my phone around with me about every waking minute, I thought I'd find an app to do that for me. I tried a few free ones before I settled on Glucose buddy. I chose it because in addition to logging glucose, it logged medicine and food as well. (It just seems incomplete to do glucose only!)

Any way I'm trying to input the data from my text file into GB and although I only had 4 days to enter, it seems it could be easier. I have a brain Injury, due to strokes and my memory is shot, so entering the data for one day (actually one time; eg; before bed; 08:20 BS=185-14N2R) I have to make 4 log events and have to enter in the date and time 4 times as well.

I was wondering if maybe you could link that info together or have the date and time stay the same until the user advances it. (On the web site, when entering several days prior to current date.

Also, the times are not lining up! Some days the end of day is around 2am, sometimes 11pm and the view logs are not ordered chronologically. I played around with the time settings, but so far no luck. Any help?

The dates and times should be lining up where they are supposed to be as you enter them. You can put all the information, associated with one meal or event, into the app at once, ie before bed; 08:20 BS=185-14N2R ==>> date, 8:20pm, BG @ 185, M @ 14N & 2R, F @ carbs - food if you had it; then hit save.

Thank you. I didn't find where to enter the data like this. Looked in the GB app and this web site.

I'll probably enter the data on the web site, as typing on the iPhone takes too long.

I understand what you are saying about the time involved in keying the data in from the iPhone. Just be advised that, if you are using the free app, you will not be able to have get the information back to the iPhone from the web.

I am using the paid version and I have been able to transfer log-data both ways. However the profile info didn't. I started with the free version on the iPhone and upgraded to the pro version. I came to this web site looking for answers and found that this web site does the same sort of stuff. I was looking for a version that ran on my ipad, but since it was on this website. I no longer need that. I read some of the forum and saw Zagg case with keyboard. I'm not going to take the case off just to use GB! So I decided to use this web site to enter the data and even print logs via my browser. (The format on the iPhone could be better in a landscape orientation).

Gotha! I took your comments to mean that you were using the free version. You are correct, in that if you are using the Pro version you will be able to get the information from the web to the iPhone or iPad.

I use the iPad sometimes as well. While the App looks ok in portrait mode (at 2x) it would be nice if there was an iPad version that would take advantage of the landscape mode. This is true for the iPhone as well. I am sure that the graphs would look considerably better in landscape mode.

Good luck to you, with entering your data from the website. Hopefully it won't take too long.
