Default are my numbers nutz???

I have been checked out as a type 2 for 10 years. My numbers seem to be fair?? whats fair. about 135 average. I went for a cat scan last week and was told to stay of my meds (glburide 4mg 2x and metformin 500mg 2x) well it has been a week off and my numbers have stayed in the same range as when I was taking the meds. what do you think????

gabbiano;

No your numbers are not nutz. They look lower than my numbers prior to the middle of December. You may want to read my post in the Type 1 Section, currently at the end of the "When were you diagnosed" thread.

It appears that the meds may not be working well for you. However, like the previous poster I would think that your numbers should have went way up! My advice is to talk with your doctor about this.

Did you make lifestyle changes, like eating less carbs and doing more activity? those could help keep your numbers in check.

My doctor had to keep changing my meds about every twelve months because they were not working well anymore. . Now I am on the pump and everything is working well.
