Can't change name of medicine
My son was diagnosed with type one diabetes 3 days ago. I downloaded GB to my iphone in hopes of having a little technology on my side as I try to navigate all this unfamiliar turf. One problem I'm having with this app is that I cannot figure out how to change the name of a medicine and/or the units in which it's measured. For example i would like to change the name "long-acting insulin" to "lantus" but the only option I have when I choose "edit" is the option to delete the medicine. I would also like to change the units of one from "mg" to "puffs." Again, I don't see any option to do this from the GB app on my iphone.
I tried to change this information by going through the Glucose Buddy website. I was able to change the medicine name but it didn't synch back to previous logs or to any of the entries on my iphone. I could not find any option for changing the units of the medicine at all. Now I'm concerned that I have 2 sets of different entries: one online and one on my iphone app. I'm supposed to send this data to my child's endocrinologist, but I'm now confused over which set is right. Can anyone throw some light on this for me? Thanks. |

Get the meds the way that you want them, as outlined in the "GB Help" thread. Puffs is an option when adding a new med. Delete the meds that you don't want. Edit the logs that you previously input, pertaining to meds, and re-sync.

If I delete the medicines I don't want, won't that delete the logs that include these medicines?
Also, do I have to upgrade in order to sync to the website and from the website back to iphone? |

Quote:
You won't have to upgrade to sync to the web, but you will have to upgrade, if you need to sync from the web back to the iPhone.
