Default Pre Diabetes in SW Florida

Had my yearly physical and found out I was pre-diabetic with a fasting glucose of 111. I bought a meter so I could keep track and try to lower it. So far my average is 104 now. I'm a 50 yr old male, 5'11", 175, work out with weights 4x a week and eat a vegetarian/fish only diet (pescetarian). My cholesterol was also high (244). Any ideas?

reduce/eliminate fast acting carbs/refined sugars.... breads, pasta (any thing with flour even whole) , potatoes (starchy veggies) . Limit most fruits and legumes. keep hydrated. It is my belief its not the fats that cause high lipids but carbs, as most low fat foods are high carb.

look in to Diet Evolution.
