Default Problems with CT Integration

I installed GB, saw the CT Integration and purchased it. I thought this would have a better integration as now the only actual integration I see is on the gb web site and not in the app itself.

I suspect the "solution" to get true integration is to purchase the two way sync. Am I correct? If this us the case why make it two add ins? This seems very misleading.

I guess my concern is from a usability perspective. To enter food I have to leave GB, open CT, find good, log the entry, sync, open GB again to see the results.

In GB there is a Food tab that requires me to enter food names. I would have though being able to search and add an item from GB using CT database of foods would have been the way to integrate with it.
