Default Feature request

Hi and thanks for the app. I use a OneTouch UltraSmart monitor but wanted to be able to store more detailed information about the food I eat (so I know how much to inject the next time!)

One thing that my diabetic specialist wants is to be able to look at the list of blood test results for a specific time of day, as in "Show me all the results you got before breakfast". Could you please add this functionality in? Otherwise I have to go through my test results and manually transcribe them on to a piece of paper and I really don't want to have to do that!

Have you thought of sorting the CSV file, in Excel, by time?

Yes; Download the CSV file and import it into Excel. This is assuming that you do have Microsoft Office (Excel) and a Windows based PC.

I just thought I'd mention if you do not have Microsoft Office - Excel installed on your computer. You can always download OpenOffice (http://download.openoffice.org/) which is free for the Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. It's called "Calc" instead of "Excel" in this program.

Instructions:

Exporting your Logs to a CSV file:

1) Click the "Exporting All Logs" link when logged into your account at: https://www.glucosebuddy.com/logs?
2) Save the file to your computer.
Note: Sometimes Excel and Calc do not allow you to Sort (ie. Option is gray-out/disabled) if you simply choose the "Open With" option instead of saving the file.
3) Open the file in program of your choice and choose "Comma-separated" (if the program asks).

Sorting with Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice Calc:

1) From the Menu choose Data > Sort ...
2) Then choose the Sort By option from the drop-down. These are your column headings and choose Ascending/Descending
3) Repeat Step 2 for the "Then By" option to further filter by column headings.
4) Click OK button.
