Hi, my name is Caitlin. I was diagnosed with diabetes on my 3rd birthday. My mom stayed with me in the hospital for 3 days until they could get my blood sugar under control. Now that I am 14 years of age I have a pretty good grasp of what I need to do to take care of myself. I have the best doctor anyone could ever ask for, and she has taken care of me so well.
Lately my blood sugars have been higher than normal but we thing that is because of the holiday season and all the candy and treats. But my new years revolution is to take extremely good care of myself and get my A1c down into the low 7s or high 6s.
I'm brand new to this website and hope that it'll be a big help to me.
