Default Low or no sugar food options.

As a child and a diabetic eating can be tough, And now it being Christmas time to boot. I just made some low sugar cashew brittle with isomalt I will post the recipe. And if you are looking for a drink substatute try Kool Aid with one package of Kool Aid and 1/2 cup of splenda. You just need to add water slowly and stif because the artificial sugars don't work like real sugar. As a chef by trade and a T1 diabetic it can be tough. But low fat and low sugars are better for us all.
