![]() ![]() Although I wrote my “Day in the Life” using my exercise example, truth be told, that day doesn’t happen too often. Mostly I just skip the gym, and my day picks up at the point when I take a shower and get ready for work. My problem is that I’m a night owl. I get my second wind around 9pm. As of late, I’ve been a bit addicted to everything wedding (more on that next week) so I have been falling asleep closer to midnight. Did you notice when I need to get up to go to the gym? 6:30 a.m. I have tried going to the gym in the morning. I have tried going to the gym in the evening. Neither one seems to be my cup of tea, but I know that I need to work out more because I have already gained two pant sizes since moving to the East Coast and I’d rather not gain anymore. Especially not when I’m going to be purchasing the most important dress I’ll ever wear this summer! Truth be told, I know that if I just committed to a more solid workout routine that all would be well. I am too quick to dismiss exercise in favor of either going out to eat or sleeping in. Both of which are fun but do not help create a svelte figure. I suppose this is not really a request for help more than it’s just an update that while my earlier attempts at exercise may have sounded promising, they have fallen flat in the face of constant activities. As I said yesterday, I’m still a work in progress. Filed under: Diabetes, Exercise, Identity ![]() More... |
