Default New and needing help

Hi,

I just posted in the introduction - or welcome part. I am overwhelmed with this. Have a lot of other health issues as well and am finding myself drowning in trying to do it all.

I can't really exercise - dealing with trying to recover from a broken foot. Have tried to take short walk but was in tears when I got home. Each step is painful. I have a high tolerance for pain, but it was too much.

Trying to make right choices about food and when to eat, etc.

I have 2 pending surgeries once I get this under control. Finding myself alone because I have no support.

Thanks for listening.
Stephanie

Stephanie;

Try not to panic, diabetes management takes a little time to get used to. It appears, that exercise is out for the time being with the broken foot. However, carb counting is still in and it works.

Stephanie, Try crutches. You can cover a lot of ground on a pair of these. Underarms may end up sore. Good luck on the foot recovery. There is always upper body excercises with small barbells etc.
