I'm scared and worried about this diabetic thing. I'm not being able to enjoy any food that's good, and my eye sight is not working right. I've been eating right but my sugar still won't stay level. Does anybody know if there is a light at the end of the tunnel? Help!

There is some light at the end of the tunnel. Your eye sight should get better when you get your average blood sugar down to a more normal level. The safest place to be is with an average blood sugar of 140 mg/dL or less. Diabetes can be managed with a healthy nutritional diet and exercise. In short, lay off the junk food and get to walking. Good luck, you can do it.

When I was diagnosed 7 months ago I found the videos at dlife.com very helpful as well as the Taking Control of Your Diabetes (TCOYD) videos on Youtube.com. Hope they help you as well on your journey. Good luck to you!
