Default Any one use bydureon?

Dr has suggested changing my from Victoza to Bydureon. Due to some stomach issues with Victoza. Any one care to give opinions?

I have been prescribed both Victoza and Bydureon. Could not tolerate either.

I've used both. Currently on Bydureon. No side effects. Doesn't really curb my appetite much. Not really lowering my blood glucose levels but that is probably because of the foods I eat. Not following a diet like I should.

I was switched to it from Victoza almost two weeks ago. Feel sick all day after injection and bs levels have been higher the entire two weeks. Feel like telling the DR I don't want to take it anymore. But never been one to tell DR no.

I tried Victoza about a year ago, broke out in a huge welt then switched to Byetta. Doctor just switched me to Bydureon , so far so good and I love the fact that Its only once a week!

Well I'm still sick the day after injection and glucose levels still high. Dr will not call me back on working on 48hrs since I called.

I did my first Bydureon injection last Saturday night. I've been having nausea, dizziness & shaking. My BS is hovering between 280 & 340...even fasting! I'm not happy at all. I can't tolerate Metformin or Victoza due to stomach issues. I liked Byetta but was taken off last year because I had a bout of hypoglycemia. Dr. figures hypoglycemia won't be an issue now.

Default Some good results, but...

I've been on Bydureon since January. It does seem to do an "ok" job of pulling my post prandial numbers down BUT because it delays the emptying of the stomach, it is sometimes hard to know when to test to get your post prandial results. I've not seen any of the weight reduction some talk about, but I've had no real side effects, either. There is quite a bit of a routine to go through each week mixing the contents and boy, you'd better get it injected in about 30 seconds or expect a clogged needle. Finally, the needle looks (and sometimes FEELS) like a shovel! I always have a bit of bleeding as the needle is removed. That makes me wonder if some of the product is being pushed back out with the blood.
