Hey guys, I live in Toronto with my grandmum who is a type 2 Mellitus patient and now she is under strict medications. The worst part is, I always have to visit outdoor sites for the business purpose and never get time where I can spare for her. This is what she does in my absence
- Not having food on time
- Skipping morning breakfast
- Not having medicines on time
- Watching late night movies
- Having sugary foods
I was thinking to hire a live-in caregiver who can give 24x7 medical surveillance to her, even in my absence. Leaving her alone will be the biggest risk with her health. What opinions do you guys have on this? Won't the nanny take good care of elderly people? I really need some good advice as I can't take any risk on her health, at any cost.
