Default Type 2 and overweight

Is there any relation between vision problem and overweight? I have had type 2 for a long time and even have double vision issue. I was taken to an eye clinic around a week ago and they said that the vision issue was because of my overweight and recommended to undergo the Lipo laser treatment(http://www.physiomed.ca/treatments/w...ss-lipo-laser/ ) which was approved by Health Canada for reducing body fat. I was wondering if I can overcome the vision issue if I lose my weight. Will it be safe to take the treatment with diabetes? Has anybody encountered this?

High blood glucose levels will affect your vision. Most vision place will ask if you have diabetes and what your levels are. Some people find that when they get their blood glucose levels down to a more normal level, that their vision returns to normal. I would be cautious of having an eye procedure while my blood glucose was high. Get a second opinion from an eye care facility that understands high blood glucose levels and its effect on your vision.
