I have been a Type II Diabetic since 2011 and have tried everything to get controlled. I just looked at sugar and I would have a 400 reading my PCP finally referred me to my amazing Endocrinologist that got me on a new system of Lantus, Metformin and Bydureon. Bydureon is a weekly injection that I take and within 3 months my A1C have went from 9.4 - 326 to 7.4 - 171 which is amazing. Also instead of gaining weight I am loosing, I just love it. I wanted to share this for anyone having troubles getting their blood sugars in control maybe look into this. I would have never known I'm only 37 and have to be in control to live a long life for my kids. I now have the energy to exercise and do things since my blood sugars are where they are suppose to be.

I started this in October. Minimal side effects first few days. Has been a blessing. My average sugars were 145 before I started, now at 134. My first A1C came in last week, 6.8 down from 7.8 previous. First time broke the 7 threshold. it has been a great benefit to me.
