Default Byetta

HI
After recent discussions with my GP and some others I know with Diabetes Type2 I switched to using Byetta 5ugms twice a day. Others have raved its success but even with 3 Diabex XR, 1 Diamicron as well I have trouble reaching anything under 8.0mmol. Any ideas

You may need to change to the 10mg. I just went from the 5mg to the 10mg.

Stay near a bathroom as you do the change! I tried Byetta several years ago and it put me in the bathroom 10 times a day, then they upped from 5 to 10 and it put me in the bathroom 20 times a day!! After 2 months I stopped using it and the bathroom and I became less friendly!!
