Hello,
I am a 39 year old man 5'10" tall 167 lbs. I was diagnosed in 2007 with type 2 and put on Metformin. Before I was diagnosed I lost 25 pounds from 205lbs to 180lbs due to frequent urination and excessive thirst. Other than the urination and thirst I had little of the other symptoms. Unfortunately the Metformin has stopped working and I recently lost my health care but I found a free diabetic care called Rotacare. After going here for a while now the doctor says I may be type 1 or 1.5? Since my blood levels average 276 they started me on insulin. Only 10 units to start increasing 2 units every 3 days until my morning levels are between 100-140. So we'll see how it goes? Any one else go from type 2 to 1? |

Welcome to the Forum!
![]() I am another T1.5'er. There is a lot of info on T1.5 on this forum, just do a tag search on T1.5 or Type 1.5. Good luck with your control and management.
